Qatar's Solar Energy Experts Since 2014
We started with a simple belief: Qatar's abundant sunshine should power its homes. A decade later, we've installed over 500 residential solar systems and we're just getting started.
Our Story
Bright Solar Energy was founded in Doha in 2014 by a team of electrical engineers who saw an untapped opportunity: Qatar receives some of the highest solar irradiance in the world, yet residential solar adoption was virtually zero.
We spent our first two years working directly with Qatar's Ministry of Energy to develop the regulatory framework for residential net metering — the system that allows homeowners to sell excess electricity back to the grid.
Today, we are Qatar's most trusted residential solar installer, with a team of 45 certified engineers and technicians, and a track record of zero failed installations.
